Romeo and JulietThe Complete BalletOur theater has been dark for the past two months while we worked on Prokofiev's monumental treatment of Shakespeare's timeless Romeo and Juliet.
Easily the most tuneful ballet since Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker, Romeo and Juliet is also powerfully dramatic, thanks to Prokofiev's gifts for motivic development, orchestration and musical irony. If you don't already know this piece, you will fall in love with it on first hearing.
We'll present the show in two parts, with four performances of each part:

Saturday, November 29 - Act I
Sunday, November 30 - Act II
Saturday, December 06 - Act I
Sunday, December 07 - Act II

The Nutcracker
A holiday classic returns to the stage this month for a limited term engagement!
Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker, the story of a young girl's journey to a magical land on Christmas Eve, is perhaps not only the composer's most famous work but also one of the most famous ballets of all time.
Sarabande presents the complete ballet, including the original E.T.A. Hoffman ending. Check our calendar for performance dates and showtimes.
